I'm fascinated by the emotion that can be found in tiny facial movements. A barely perceptible frown saying something is wrong, wide eyes staring at the frame and her lips cracked, frozen forever and almost saying something, a slight smile of unexpected joy. a second mouth and a body that squirms and squirms with pain or pleasure. I was interested in human emotions. So I started doing portraits as well, mostly of my family and friends but also of anyone who posed for me.
